RE: What to use? Washing walls and ceiling.

Thanks Scott. That's what we'll go with then. I just didn't know what to use, as the walls in the house are painted and the trailer isn't. Thanks again, and have a great day. Junky.........

RE: What to use? Washing walls and ceiling.

How do you clean your house? Do the same in the RV. I don't, the Wife does. ;) Thanks though, I'll let her know. Junky....

What to use? Washing walls and ceiling.

Howdy all. What's a good product to use to wash the walls and ceiling in our 5th wheel? There have been smoker's in our trailer and just want to freshen and clean it up before winter storage. Thank you for your input. Junky............

RE: Backing Problem

This is what the DW and I do before she guides me backing in a site. I call her a bunch of dirty words and she repeats process to me, we kiss and say we love each other, and then we proceed to back in. Junky............

RE: extra water storage

I bought a 68 gallon tank from Here. I have a shurflo extreme pump and a 50ft garden hose attached. I have a longbed truck, so it fits nicely in the front of the bed. Have about 400 into it, but use it all the time, even for washing the truck. Our trailer stays on land w/no hookups. Good luck, Junky..........

RE: Flojet vs. Sani-Con - and some questions

If it was me and it was on my land I would dig a hole, build an outhouse. This is exactly why I love the internet! This is a perfectly good idea that I hadn't even thought about. Now, I think I can safely say that I won't be able to sell the wife on this one. Her fear of "creepy crawlies" far exceeds our collective desire to get away from other human beings. But the fact is the thought simply hadn't occurred to me. Thanks for expanding my options! B This is exactly what we do on our land. We actually bought a used portable outhouse, you know the plastic rental kind you see at outdoor events? Cost was 125 bucks. We cut out the bottom om the house below the toilet seat. We then dug a hole and placed a 55 gal. plastic drum, with holes drilled on bottom and sides in the hole. Placed the outhouse over that and we are good to go. When our tanks are full in the 5er, we use a flojet pump and pump into the outhouse. That helps keep the odor down also, and breaks up the icky stuff in the outhouse. I use a 100 ft hose and the incline to the outhouse is 12ft in that stretch. It works great. We don't do the number 2 thing in our rv, just the outhouse. This has worked for the past two summers very well. Good luck, Junky.......

RE: What kind of folding ladder do you have?

I have something similar to THIS. I can't remember what I paid for it. It stores nicely in the front compartment on the 5er. Pretty solid when extended also. Junky.........

RE: Inexpensive TV wall mounts

I just bought a Sony 32 inch flat panel for the RV. Wondering if anyone has any advice regarding a nice sturdy wall mount that might be suitable for a forty pound TV. I have a 40" Sony Bravia and bought a wall mount for it on Ebay much cheaper than at Best Buy. The mount is nice. Do a search on Ebay if you like. Good luck, Junky.............
